The Open Education Training Roadmap: From Adopting OER to Co-Creating Knowledge for Social Justice

Open Education goes far beyond the adoption of Open Educational Resources (OER). It represents a transformative approach to teaching and learning — one that values collaboration, inclusion, and social change.

This poster presents a structured yet flexible professional learning pathway designed to guide educators from the practical integration of OER to the critical, participatory practice of Open Pedagogy.

The roadmap includes three progressive workshops and the interactive board game UnExpected Values: The Open Future, offering educators hands-on opportunities to explore how openness can transform both classroom practice and community engagement.

Together, they invite educators to reimagine teaching as a co-creative, empowering, and socially just practice.
