2016: I co-tutored a 4 week blended-learning course on digital storytelling for K-6 in-service teachers.
2015: I co-tutored a 4 week blended-learning course on digital storytelling for in-service teachers.
2015: I co-tutored two 3 week blended-learning courses on using Prezi for presentations for in-service teachers.
2014: I co-tutored two 4 week blended-learning courses on employing Web 2.0 tools in environmental education for in-service teachers.
2013: I co-tutored a 6 week blended-learning course for teachers on employing Web 2.0 tools in environmental education for in-service teachers.
2012: I tutored two workshops for teachers to facilitate the development of the blended learning course “Digital Foreign Language Learning in Action”.
2010: I tutored a short intensive course for Greek teachers on Poverty and Social Exclusion for the eTwinning programme.
Course Design
2016: I collaborated with Dr. Goria to design the curriculum, assessment methods, and learning activities of the “Research Methods for Language Professionals” course for the Master of Arts in Digital Technologies for Language Teaching. I developed the course on the Moodle platform of the University of Nottingham.
2014: I designed the curriculum, assessment methods, and learning activities of the “Telecollaboration in Language Learning” course for the Master of Arts in Digital Technologies for Language Teaching. I developed the course on the Moodle platform of the University of Nottingham. In 2019 I gave a talk at the Virtual Exchange and 21st Century Teacher Education Conference, Leon, Spain regarding the design of the course.
2014-2016: I collaborated with colleagues in the design of the syllabus, curriculum, assessment methods, and learning activities of a series of short courses on digital storytelling. The courses were developed on the Moodle platform of the ICT4ALL.
2013: I assisted Dr. Goria in the design of the curriculum, assessment methods, and learning activities of the “Introduction to Digital Technologies for Language Teaching” and of the “Integrating Technology in Course Design and Assessment” courses for the Master of Arts in Digital Technologies for Language Teaching.
2012-2013: I designed the curriculum, assessment methods, and learning activities of a series of short professional development courses on the integration of digital technologies in teaching and developed the courses on the Moodle platform of the ICT4ALL.
2010: I designed the curriculum, assessment methods, and learning activities of the “Poverty & Social Exclusion” online course and developed the course on the Moodle platform of the eTwinning programme.
Face to Face Teaching
2002-2017: I was teaching ICT and Computer Science in Greek state K-12 schools.
2005: I trained teachers on the use of ICT for educational activities.
2003-2004: I worked at the Industrial Informatics Department of the Kavala Institute of Technology as laboratory adjunct in “Network Security” and “Programming in C++” classes.
